about

Meet Derill Pounds, whose passion for music is as strong as his will to quit his crappy day job. In tough times of finance, there are still a few areas where "cheese" is of abundance and the work ethic is the same as it ever was.

Take a trip to Oshkosh, Wisconsin and we find Pounds' "Emotional Rollercoaster Rescue" as the ode to blue collar therapy, with dusty drums, gritty but smooth raps, and drinking loyalty. His birthplace etched in stone as the home of classic clothing company OshKosh B'Gosh, Pounds' dynamic
draws to the local at his shows with animated performances and songs like Silly Justy and Cold One, creating the epic Midwest style that was birthed by Rhymesayers in the 90's of Minneapolis.

Features from recent Bamboozle indie punk rapper Roebus One and frequent Matisyahu collaborater and battle champ Kosha Dillz land some East Coast flavor on "Girl Push-Ups" while Pounds rounds out the rest of LP with Midwest support from Coolzey on "Pine Tar" and cuts on the album by J.B. ILL.

The tale to tell is that of ups and downs, drinks and clinks, and daily life all around our world. Although you might never get a chance to see it personally, Derill Pounds can still rescue you from your Emotional
Rollercoaster (rescue) wherever you lay your mind to rest.
